I tried the Glütiny Pale Ale from New Belgium Brewing Company, 6% ABV, to see if a gluten-removed beer is any good. Most of the time when gluten is removed from something it doesn’t taste very good. I was expecting a mildly hoppy pale ale. It had a faintly citrus aroma. After I took my first drink it tasted very hoppy and bitter. Did they wrongly label this as a pale ale rather than an IPA? I read the description from New Belgium and realized it was classified as American Pale Ale which tends to be hoppier than a regular pale ale. I don’t like IPA’s so I didn’t like this.
